Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), a premium aluminum producer based in the UAE, announced the launch of the construction of the largest aluminum recycling plant in the country, with an expected completion within three years.
o alumínio recycling plant, located near EGA’s existing smelter in Al Taweelah, will have an annual production capacity of 170,000 toneladas. At the plant, post-consumer aluminum scraps such as used window frames and pre-consumer aluminum scrap from extrusion production will be processed into low-carbon, high-quality premium aluminum billets.

The low-carbon metal produced at the newly built plant will be named RevivAL, which will be supplied to local and global markets.
