Opis
5083 H321 aluminum plate is a high-strength, high-corrosion-resistant aluminum-magnesium alloy plate. It achieves an optimal balance between mechanical properties and corrosion resistance through cold working hardening and stabilized annealing process.
As a 5xxx series alloy, 5083 is primarily alloyed with magnesium (mg: 4.0–4.9%), which imparts high strength while maintaining good ductility. It also contains manganese (Mn: 0.4–1.0%) to enhance grain structure and corrosion resistance, and chromium (cr: 0.05–0.25%) to improve stress corrosion cracking resistance.
5083 H321 Aluminiowa płyta has good weldability that is suitable for fabrication of ship hulls, deck plates, offshore oil and gas equipment, and pressure vessels that require high strength and corrosion resistance.
5083 H112 has lower strength comparing with 5083 h321, but it has better ductility, with an elongation of approximately 15% - 25%, which makes it easier to be formed into various shapes through processes such as bending, cechowanie, and rolling.
