The European designation EN AW-1080A aluminum sheet is a ‘commercially pure’ legering, minimum 99.8% al, available as round bar or wire or plate.
For the 1080 industrial pure aluminium, met hoge plasticiteit, corrosieweerstand, elektrische geleidbaarheid en thermische geleidbaarheid, maar lage sterkte, heat treatment can’t strengthen cutting; welding, atomic hydrogen welding and contact welding, solderen; bear various pressure processing and extension, buigen.
1080 aluminium is a 1000-series aluminum alloy: it is considered commercially pure, and is formulated for primary forming into wrought products. 1080 is the Aluminum Association (AA) designation for this material. In European standards, it will be given as EN AW-1080. Aanvullend, the EN chemical designation is Al99,8. And the UNS number is A91080.
