Disebabkan kos tenaga yang tinggi, Damco Aluminium Delfzijl Koperasi U.A. (KEBANGSAAN), the only aluminum producer based in Delfzijl, Belanda, memfailkan muflis dengan mahkamah pada Khamis lalu.

This aluminum smelter stopped production previously because of high energy prices and a lack of government support, and the processing works were also stopped in September.

ALDEL is a primary aluminum producer in the Netherlands. It has an annual production capacity of 110,000 tons of primary aluminum and 50,000 tons of recycled aluminum. The plant’s aluminum products are applied in the automotive industry.
