AL6061-T6 Aluminum bar is a round bar or flat bar made of 6061 aluminum alloy as the base material and strengthened by the T6 heat treatment process.
6061 aluminum alloy belongs to the Al-Mg-Si system of heat-treatable alloys. By adding elements such as magnesium and silicon to form the Mg2Si strengthening phase, combined with T6 solution treatment and artificial aging process, it possesses high strength, buena resistencia a la corrosión, and excellent machinability, making it one of the most widely used aluminum alloy materials in industrial fields.
