Turkey has adjusted custom tariffs on 96 types of steel, including some flat and long products,imported from Bahrain, بنغلاديش, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, إيران, Qatar, Kuwait, Malaysia, Pakistan, المملكة العربية السعودية, Oman and Jordan According to a statement published in the Official Gazette of Turkey, the framework agreement on the preferential trading system among member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The decision will take effect on July 1. Coated plate, rebar and wire are excluded from the regulations.

The duties imposed on HRC under code 7208 هي 9% و 13% respectively. This regulation does not cover products with a thickness of less than 10 مم.

The tariff on CRC code 7209 is 10%. For products belonging to codes 7209.16.90.90.00, 7209.17.90.90.00, 7219.18.91.90.00 و 7209.18.99.90.00, the direct import of white goods manufacturers will be temporarily levied at a tax rate of 7%.
