Turkey has adjusted custom tariffs on 96 types of steel, including some flat and long products,imported from Bahrain, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Jordan According to a statement published in the Official Gazette of Turkey, the framework agreement on the preferential trading system among member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The decision will take effect on July 1. Coated plate, rebar and wire are excluded from the regulations.

The duties imposed on HRC under code 7208 está 9% e 13% respectively. This regulation does not cover products with a thickness of less than 10 milímetros.

The tariff on CRC code 7209 is 10%. For products belonging to codes 7209.16.90.90.00, 7209.17.90.90.00, 7219.18.91.90.00 e 7209.18.99.90.00, the direct import of white goods manufacturers will be temporarily levied at a tax rate of 7%.

o 11% tariff will apply to sheet with registration code 7211 and some other flat products.

The tariff levied on profiles under code 7216 is 16.5%, but the regulation excludes U-beam and flat-rolled products
